Lao food on East 30th Street
Papaya salad, chicken laap and grilled pork sticks with sticky rice. Generous portions, cooked quickly, ready for pickup.
Sticky rice on every table
Lao cooking is sour, salty, herby and hot, and it is eaten with sticky rice pinched off by hand. That is what we cook: laap tossed with lime and toasted rice, green papaya pounded to order, pork skewers straight from the grill.
Order ahead by phone and pick it up on your way home. Some of our regulars carry it over to the brewery nearby.
