How the draft works

Four steps from stranger to roster. The GC runs it like a real draft, with rounds, a pick order and a recap everyone will screenshot.

    You apply

    Fill in the form: your name, your username, who you are and why this chat needs you. Answer the GC's questions if you dare.

  2. 02

    The admins review

    Every application lands with the admins. They shortlist the serious ones and quietly retire the rest.

  3. 03

    Draft night

    The members take turns picking from the board, round by round, in a set order. Every pick is credited to the member who made it.

  4. 04

    The roster drops

    When the spots are filled, the draft closes. Drafted applicants get added to the chat. Everyone else gets the silence.

What the GC sees, and what nobody else does

Your application goes straight to the GC. The admins read everything, and the members see your profile card on the draft board: your display name, your username, your intro and your answers.

Your age range stays with the admins. Nothing about you is shown on the public pages of this website, not even your name. The count of applications is the only thing the world gets to see.

The draft room sits behind a sign-in, and only accounts on the GC list get in.

Who sees my application
Only GOONILANTIE's admins and members. Nothing you send is posted on this website.
Can I apply more than once
You can, but the admins will notice. One strong application beats three desperate ones.
What happens if I am not drafted
The admins decide whether your application carries over to the next draft. No hard feelings. Some hard feelings.
Do I need a profile picture
No. You can add a link to one, for example your avatar. It helps the GC put a face to the chaos.

The roster is small. The GC is petty.
