Founded in 1987 by the Conti family from Bologna, La Trattoria was born from a simple dream: to share the soul of Italian cooking with New York City. Chef Marco Conti trained under legendary masters in Emilia-Romagna before bringing his craft across the Atlantic.
Today, his daughter Sofia leads the kitchen, honoring every tradition while adding her own creative touch. Our pasta is made fresh each morning, our sauces simmer for hours, and our ingredients are sourced directly from trusted Italian producers.
