Introducing frascati: describe your business, get a website

We first published this post in January 2026 and updated it in October 2026, so it describes frascati as it is today.

Building even a simple website still takes too many steps: choosing a tool, learning its editor, writing the copy, finding photos, setting up a form and putting it all online. We built frascati to turn that into a conversation.

You describe your business in a chat. frascati writes a multi-page website for it: copy written for your business, fitting photos from a large stock library or your own uploads, a working contact form, and a title and description for every page. The first version takes about two minutes, and it works on phones, tablets and desktops.

Since 29 September 2026, frascati also builds phone apps for iPhone and Android. You describe the app, try it on your own phone with a QR code and change it in the chat, the same way as a website. Publishing in the App Store from frascati opens account by account; until then you can download the app project.

It never invents facts about your business. Where it does not know something, such as your prices, opening hours or team, it leaves a visible [placeholder] to fill in, or leaves the element out. If you already have a website, paste its address: frascati reads the text of that page and uses your real services and details.

You change the site by writing in the chat. Every change is saved as a version you can compare and restore. Plan mode lets you ask questions without changing the site, and after each answer frascati suggests three next steps you can click. If you want to see the code, the Code view shows every file and you can edit it directly.

frascati uses Anthropic's Claude models: Claude Opus 5.5 builds new websites and apps, and Claude Sonnet 5.5 makes the changes. The code is React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4.

When you are happy, one click puts the site online at a frascati address, and with Pro and Business on your own domain. Messages from the contact form are saved with your project and emailed to you. You own your website, and with Pro and Business you can download its full source code.

frascati writes your site in the language you write to it: German, French, Italian, English or another language. For businesses in German-speaking countries it adds Impressum and Datenschutz pages with the headings the law requires and [placeholders]; it never writes legal text itself. Projects are stored in the EU, and frascati is made in Switzerland.

It is not for everything. frascati builds websites and phone apps, not full web apps. A website has online booking, takes payments through your own Stripe account and can have a members area where visitors sign in with a code sent by email; phone apps have the same customer accounts. Roles, server code of your own or a large shop need a dedicated tool, and you link to it.

Starter costs $12 a month, Pro from $29 and Business from $69. Every plan starts with a free 3-day trial with 20 credits. A card is required, and if you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged.
