Design styles
What each style is, where it fits and what frascati does with it. By default frascati builds calm, readable sites, and dark ones when you ask.
- Dark modefrascati designs light sites by default. Ask for a dark one and it inverts the colours: dark paper, light text, one accent and contrast of at least 4.5:1.
- Minimalistfrascati already leans minimal: one paper colour, one accent, one or two fonts, generous space and large real photos. Ask for more restraint and it cuts more.
- AnimatedScroll animations and moving text can impress, but they can delay content and bother people sensitive to motion. frascati keeps motion to hover and focus.
- Brutalistfrascati can take the brutalist mood when you ask: stark layouts, visible lines, big type and few colours. It keeps text readable and leaves out glow and grain.
- Retrofrascati can give your site a retro feel when you ask: period fonts, colours and print layouts. It keeps text readable and skips scanlines, glow and grain.
- ParallaxParallax moves background layers slower than the page to suggest depth. frascati leaves it out and creates depth with large photos and space instead.
- GlassmorphismGlassmorphism sets frosted, see-through panels over colourful backgrounds. It can look rich, but text on glass is hard to read. frascati uses solid surfaces.
- GradientGradient backgrounds and gradient text are common on AI-made sites. frascati leaves them out and gives each business one paper colour and one accent colour.
