Can I export the code from an AI website builder?
Short answer
With frascati's Pro and Business plans, yes. They download the full source code as a Vite project, which a developer can host or extend.
The longer answer
With Pro and Business, you download the full source code, starting with the first payment: a multi-page website in React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4, set up as a Vite project. During the free trial there is no download, and Starter sites are published on frascati.
The source code is what a developer needs to host the site elsewhere, connect it to other systems or extend it. Exported code carries no frascati branding.
Other tools handle this in their own ways. Lovable, for example, connects to GitHub. Hosted builders such as Wix or Squarespace run your site on their own platform. Check each tool's help pages for what you can take with you before you commit.
Why it matters: you can change hosting, hire a developer to build on your site, and keep a copy that does not depend on any one tool.
