AI features in your website

A website can have up to 5 AI features, each with its own instructions. The AI assistant with its chat button is a separate feature, see AI assistant.

Instructions

What the feature does and how it answers, up to 6,000 characters. A change works right away, without publishing again.

Model

Fast: Claude Haiku 4.5, quick answers at the lowest price. Smart: Claude Sonnet 5.5, better writing and reasoning, about three times the price.

Monthly limit

How many credits the answers to visitors may use a month: 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 1000 credits, or off. A new website starts at 10 credits, about 30 to 100 answers. The Cloud tab shows this month's use.

Each answer costs what the model used, at least 0.1 credits. Most short answers cost exactly that, a long one from Smart a little more. Answers to visitors count toward the monthly limit; your own tries in the preview are paid too, but do not count.

When the monthly limit is reached, when your account has no credits left, or when the feature is off, visitors see that the AI is not available right now. In the preview, the editor's console tells you which of these it is.

• It answers only on your website: in the preview, on your frascati address and on your own domain. Other websites cannot use it.
• The website sends only the question. The instructions, the model and the longest answer stay on frascati's side, so nobody can turn it into something else.
• Each visitor can ask a limited number of questions in ten minutes, a website has a limit per hour, and a message can be up to 8,000 characters.

frascati does not keep the conversations. The feature tells visitors that the answers come from an AI and can contain mistakes, as the EU asks. The answers come from Claude by Anthropic.

• It does not answer on share links or in a downloaded copy of the website; there it says it is not available.
• It does not search the internet. It answers from its instructions and, if you want, from your website's content.
